Final thoughts

Show your tutors that you're genuinely passionate and would be interesting to teach.

Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

I can't remember

How did you prepare?

I did past papers.

What advice do you have for future applicants?

Looking back, what advice would you give to your past self?

Convince the tutor(s) that you are genuinely passionate about the subject and that you would be interesting to teach. If you have done well in your school exams and application assesment they are already accepting that you have the skills necessary to pass, you just need to convince them that they want to teach you instead of someone else.
