Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

Interview Format

1 academic interview with 2 people and one extra curricular with 1 person + written test on first day then 1 academic pooling interview with two people the second day. The first day was quite hard but second was much more fun

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

We discussed topics including supersessionism, aesthetics, music, war, and ethics. It was hard but the interview felt more like conversation in which I was being guided and lead to ask questions and discover the answers

How did you prepare?

Reading the books on my personal statement over and over again and just talking about the interesting parts of the course through with people in my year who knew about certain areas so I could uncover my thoughts on hard questions

Looking back, what advice would you give to your past self?

No
