Advice in hindsight

Final thoughts

Try not to stress!

Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

We did some exercises and I proceeded to solve them with the interviewers guidance. The only questions I was asked revolved around mathematical problems. I was but then I relaxed and I enjoyed the interview. The interviewers were very friendly.

How did you prepare?

I did past papers and talked to an ex-interviewer in order to get prepared for the interview. I solved a few exercises I found online.

What advice do you have for future applicants?

Looking back, what advice would you give to your past self?

Best thing I did was not stress out a lot. I expected the interview to be a lot more scary but it was actually enjoyable. I think the interviewers are looking for someone who will listen to what they tell them and apply it.
