Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

Length of interviews: 1 hour

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

I was asked scenarios to try and think aloud about, was not anything on my personal statement. At the end, I was asked if I had any questions, which I did but was too scared to ask them and just sat silently instead! So maybe don't do that.

How did you prepare for your interviews?

Recording myself speaking, listening, talking to others, reading around the subject.

If you took a test, how did you prepare?

Practice papers, feedback on essays, applied interview technique.

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Be calm and approach it like a conversation. Be concise and just think aloud.
