Final thoughts

You're not expected to know everything about your subject!

Remember this advice isn't official. There is no guarantee it will reflect your experience because university applications can change between years. Check the official Cambridge and Oxford websites for more accurate information on this year's application format and the required tests.

Also, someone else's experience may not reflect your own. Most interviews are more like conversations than tests and like, any conversation, they are quite interactive.

Interview Format

Test taken: Cambridge Law Test (CLT)
Number of interviews: 2
Time between interviews: 45 minutes
Length of interviews: 20-40 minutes
Online interview: No

What happened in your interview? How did you feel?

The interviewers asked me questions about my personal statement in the first interview. Then we discussed cases in the second.

How did you prepare for your interviews?

Just spoke about topical issues with people.

If you took a test, how did you prepare?

Read 'Letters to a Law Student'.

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Don't stress. It's not the end of the world and you don't need to spend lots of time preparing for anything. They do not expect you to know everything about your subject; they just want to see how you think.
